Elton John, Gary Barlow, Olly Murs, Status Quo and more have all graced the stage, as well as acclaimed opera singers like Jose Carreras and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. ‘It’s a Knockout’ was filmed here in the 1960s too, for over eleven years, making it an important part of British entertainment history. The stage is set in the middle of a lake, in a natural amphitheatre, making it a truly unique concert venue.

Located in Northstead Manor Gardens, it is a stone’s throw from our Park Manor Hotel, making us a top choice for concertgoers. Known locally as  OAT, the original theatre was built in the 1930s, when Scarborough seaside holidays were at their peak. It drew thousands of visitors a year. With massive investment, the theatre has been updated for a modern audience and is now firmly on the international tour circuit for big name artists.
